The Depth of Time
Date Taken 7/16/16.
Some type of mining bridge or structure lies submerged in an old pond. The water has a beautiful green hue with the orange/red dirt of the Red Mountains for contrast. I love this shot for the colors, reflections, and intricate details in the wood and trees. A museum in the mountains!Rugged Range

I got this shot on the other side of the San Juans above Silverton from the Red Mountain Mining road. I believe it is the other side of Gold King Basin and Alta Lakes but I am not sure. I love the colors and the grassy slopes below the towering rocks of the peaks with the silhouettes of the close trees to provide depth.Layers of Ophir

I really like this shot for the massive rock spire towering over red and orange stuff behind a beautiful green knoll cresting the treelike. I had never noticed this vantage in the many times I have crossed Ophir Pass. Sometimes it's just your perspective that changes... and maybe the lens ;)Snowcano

I definitely can't explain this. Early July, and a Volcano of snow and water erupting from the ground. It took patience to capture it and my lens on it's max settings. It think it is a pretty cool shot, with the diagonal lines, lush forest, and bright white on the red and orange.
