Symbols of Alta
One of my first creative, abstract frames of a landscape. Every time at Alta Lakes is special and this time was no different. The reflection from the water, the spectacular smells of pine and the lakes in the air, and the escape from the June heat at lower elevations. This picture is special to me, and also hangs on the wall at the Sophia Retreat and Event Center.

Three of a Kind
Date Taken 7/8/16.
An unusual experience, to drive up on a large heard of elk and not have all of them leave immediately. These three stayed and responded to my "communications". It was a lot of fun, and a treasure to capture them against the backdrop of Devil's point with a red sunset of early July.

The sun sets in a newly discovered place near an old favorite. Early July is a beautiful time here.
