Destination in The Journey
Mt. Hesperus reflected in a mud/slush puddle on the Aspen Loop road near Sharkstooth trailhead. This was an exciting capture as this level of clarity and framing in offroad puddles is rare. An illustration of life's balance between enjoying the journey and reaching the destination.

Alpenglow On Hesperus
It took a combination of all of the right things to get this Panorama right. Standing in icy water taking 7 shots with the right metering at the right time bright together this somewhat unique shot. Hesperus mountain is sacred to the Native Americans in the area, and when you are this close, you can sure tell why!

The Calm Before Closure
Date Taken: 11/25/16
The last tired vehicle for the season, mine, barely made it to this overlook on Black Mesa. Plowing through over 1 foot of snow, it was a little risky but worth it to see the south western edge of the mighty San Juans before winter buried them the next day. There is a lot to see in this photo. Enjoy!
