Golden Horn Rising
Another shot from Trout Lake. Capturing the moon can be very complicated as you need ambient light to balance out the concentrated light. Golden Horn, the mountain, is one of my favorite for it's various textures and colors, and of course the beautiful blue Colorado sky make this a milestone of mine. Soft and powerful!

A beautiful sunset in a hypothesized spot. The first time I was here, the mountains were socked in, and I just knew that you could see something, but I didn't know it was this. This is basically a view of the majority of my favorite camping and mountains, and it is just a fraction of what is here. You can see from Pilot Knob on the left, all the way to the end of Bolam Pass on the right.... and during a beautiful August sunset! Hard to beat. You could really feel fall in the air when I took this shot, crisp and cool, but still with the tinge of summer warmth. A favorite!
Dolores Peak Waning
This is one of my more popular shots of Dolores Peak at Sunset from National Forest above Groundhog Reservoir. It was on a beautiful late summer evening on a quick overnight camping trip. We got lucky again and hit the light just right. This spot definitely warrants a few more visits!

Telluride Summertime Sunset
I don't have many pictures of active towns, but Telluride is truly a special place. This is taken the day before my birthday on main street in Telluride at Sunset. It was a special evening with my family, and this is one of my favorite pictures, even with modern buildings in it.
